Děčín Plant Doubles Recycling Capacity

At Constellium, every milestone in sustainability is worth celebrating - and this one’s a big one! Our Děčín plant in the Czech Republic has doubled its recycling capacity over the last five years. Thanks to the incredible efforts of our local team and the installation of a powerful new baling press, we can now recycle an impressive 40,000 metric tons of aluminium scrap each year, including both pre- and post-consumer materials. 

This achievement reflects the dedication and talent of our Děčín colleagues, as well as Constellium’s ongoing commitment to making a difference. Globally, our recycling capacity now exceeds 750,000 metric tons annually, underscoring our role as a leader in sustainability and the circular economy.
