Job Summary: The Packaging & Rolled Products (PARP) Controller is responsible for all accounting & financial activities related to planning & forecasting. He/she also supports decision-making & strategic direction for the business through effective financial analysis of the activities. The position will also add value through an in-depth understanding of the BU’s business activities, by highlighting emerging business issues and trends and by staying abreast of changes in corporate directives and accounting policies. The position requires travel to the different sites and potentially supporting these sites locally on the ground for a certain period.


Responsibilities

  • All controlling activities of PARP including:
    • Evaluating financial performance, controlling cost, setting up budget follow-ups, determining and tracking corrective actions, informing management on main discrepancies, implementing controlling system & product-line profitability analysis
  • All budgeting and forecasting activities of PARP, including:
    • Preparation of monthly conference calls, quarterly business reviews, budgets, 10-year plans, monthly forecasts, and strategic presentations to CSTM Group Management.
    • Actively supports & analyzes current results and the establishment of budgets & forecasts & 10-year plans.
  • Ensures accounting/legal/tax/financial/treasury compliance with Group rules, IFRS/SOX reporting and local legislation, and is the key contact point for CSTM corporate correspondents.
  • Participates in various special projects at PARP.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 10+ years of progressive financial experience.
  • Good knowledge of SAP (FI/CO/SD/MM), Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance and of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 
  • Language fluency in English. French and German are a plus.
  • Prior experience in project management and in costing within a manufacturing environment (knowledge of aluminum industry preferred)
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Hyperion, and BI tools
