Job Summary: 

The Information Technology Infrastructure Manager is responsible for the overall strategy, planning and execution of all infrastructure related IT functions at the location. In this role, you need to have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure systems, ensuring they are secure, scalable, compliant and efficient. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee daily operations. 

  • Support and manage an onsite 24x7 Data Center infrastructure and Disaster Recovery site. 

  • Highly skilled in management of cloud infrastructure and migrations to the cloud. 

  • Understand management of Service Desk, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and other ITSM processes and ITIL processes. 

  • Be able to lead a small team of systems, network, storage engineers. 

  • Be able to manage on-call and incident management events to manage the site appropriately. 

  • Have skills to manage a financial Capex and OpEx budget for the infrastructure group. 

  • Be able to develop Disaster Recovery Plans, Business Continuity Plans. Knowledge of disaster recovery and data backup procedures. 

  • Lead and manage SOX, SOC, TISAX and other audits and compliance requirements. 

  • Manage the asset inventory for the entire site. 

  • Be partner to the Cyber Security Team and have experience in managing a Zero Trust environment. 

  • Have experience in working with Corporate Networks and Enterprise services providers.   

  • Analyzes complex business needs presented by the user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions. 

  • Define project scope and priorities in collaboration with senior management, process systems team members, engineering and other IT professionals to provide software and hardware solutions so the business plan for the company can be efficiently achieved 

  • Work with corporate staff to develop a long-range IT plan, get plan approval, and secure funds/resources, schedule and implementing the plan 

  • Directs and prioritizes the workload of subordinate personnel 

  • Approves all business requirements prior to the technical solution 

  • Participates in hardware and software evaluations and maintains vendor contracts 

  • Represents the IT function at all review meetings when appropriate 

  • Directs education programs for her/his staff 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Qualifications: 

  • BS degree in Engineering (preferred), CIS/MIS, or equivalent degree 

  • 8-10 years’ experience in IT management, preferably supporting a larger manufacturing facility and in a matrix organization 

  • Prefer experience to include at least ten years in the IT field with experience in all major areas of IT support for a manufacturing operation 

  • Strong Knowledge of network administration, server management and cybersecurity 

  • Knowledge of network architecture including LANs, WANs, wireless network, and cloud networks 

  • Prefer at least two years’ experience as Technical Systems, Process Systems, or Business Systems Manager 

  • Capable of handling people management challenges proven with experience in communication skills both written and oral 

  • Must be experienced with developing presentation material for planning, training, funding meetings 

  • Able to build strong, credible relationships with strategic partners and suppliers on a global scale 

  • Knowledge of most major programming languages, network operation, computer hardware and operating systems 

  • Experience with project planning and project management 

 

About Constellium Muscle Shoals:    

Constellium Muscle Shoals is a major aluminum sheet supplier for the packaging and automotive markets. The plant has ~1,200 employees and more than 100 acres under room, including five casting units, hot and cold rolling mills, and a slitting and finishing center. Muscle Shoals produces aluminum sheet for use in all three components of beverage cans (body stock, coated end stock, tab stock) and can produce over 1 billion pounds per year of finished aluminum coils. The plant also produces aluminum automotive coils to be processed at our CALP line in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Muscle Shoals’ world-class recycling center can recycle the equivalent of 20 billion aluminum cans per year.
