Located in the auto industry’s heartland around Detroit, Plymouth, Michigan is home to Constellium's Research & Technology hub in North America. This location also serves as the sales office for Automotive Rolled Products, and the sales and administrative office for Automotive Structures in the region. 

The research center specializes in the design of aluminium products and applications for the automotive industry, particularly Automotive Body Sheet. With expertise in mechanical testing, heat treatment, surface chemistry, and corrosion, the center is focused on supporting our automotive customers. Plymouth is the ideal location for collaborating with OEMs on development projects and investigating research fundamentals with leading institutions like the University of Michigan. Our scientists also provide technical assistance for our North American plants.
